Selection Criteria:

1. Preference is given to a female student-athlete who has exhausted her eligibility at Southeastern Louisiana University, remains NCAA-compliant, has one or more semesters remaining to complete her degree, and has demonstrated team leadership and spirit. If no female athlete qualifies, second preference is given to a student manager, athletic trainer, or mascot demonstrating team leadership and spirit.
2. Must demonstrate financial need.
3. In the event there are multiple candidates who qualify, it is the preference of the donor that the recipient be determined by the following, in the order they are listed:
a. closest to graduation.
b. exhibits greatest need.
c. highest GPA.
