Selection criteria:

1. Must have a minimum of 30 hours of pre-requisite coursework at Southeastern and be accepted into clinical nursing courses.
2. The student must demonstrate financial need, and should not be overfunded with multiple scholarships.
3. Preference is for students to have participated in the Ochsner Summer Nurse Tech Program. If no students meet this requirement, then preference is for a student who is or will be completing clinical rotations at an Ochsner Hospital or Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
