Gail Hood Endowed Scholarship in the Visual Arts

Selection Criteria:

1. Must have a 2.75 average or better in their visual arts courses.
2. Must be a visual arts major and have declared a concentration in painting and drawing.
3. Must have completed required fundamental 2-D courses including Basic Painting and Intermediate Drawing.
4. Must be enrolled in Intermediate, Advanced or Senior Project Painting and/or Advanced or Senior Project Drawing or any other Junior or Senior Painting or Drawing course the semester the award is given.
5. Must be enrolled full-time.
6. It is recommended that those students in advanced courses or above be asked to submit an artist’s statement along with three or four works of merit.
