Selection Criteria:

1. Must have completed her eligibility to play sports at Southeastern Louisiana University, but still have a semester or more remaining to complete her degree.
2. Must have exhibited team leadership and spirit.
3. Must have financial need.
4. Must have exhausted her eligibility to participate in collegiate sports, yet still be in compliance with the NCAA guidelines.
5. In the event there are multiple candidates who qualify, it is the preference of the donor that the recipient be determined by the following, in the order they are listed:
a. closest to graduation.
b. exhibits greatest need.
c. highest GPA.
