LeVar and Rhonda James Scholarship

Selection Criteria:

1. The scholarship is for an incoming freshman whose home address must be located in Tangipahoa or Washington parish,
with preference given to students who attended Jewel M. Sumner High School, Varnado High School, Kentwood High School, and Amite High School.
2. The student must demonstrate financial need, and should not be overfunded with multiple scholarships.
3. The donor desires that when awarding this scholarship, special consideration be given for students who have demonstrated experience in or a commitment to working with the African-American community.
