Carl & Carol Maxson Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship

Selection Criteria:

1. Must be a degree-seeking Southeastern student and not a guest student.
2. An undergraduate student must have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or a graduate student must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.25. For first-semester undergraduate students, a high school GPA of 2.5 can be considered. For first-semester graduate students, an undergraduate GPA of 3.25 can be considered.
3. Must be participating in a study abroad program in a foreign country in which English is not the primary spoken language, with an exception being made for the French-speaking regions of Canada.
4. Must be enrolled in and complete a study abroad course in foreign language (including FLAN), history, political science, or mathematics.
5. Must take their study abroad courses for credit. Those choosing to audit courses may not apply.
